Hi, Anne Cauley here. I am a specialist in communications: social media, marketing, sales, training and enablement. I also consider myself an agent of change.  If you are wondering, What is an agent of change? An agent of change is someone who accelerates change in a business culture or in a marketplace by leveraging the thoughts and principles of culture change (management) and by developing compelling communications, effective training and supporting enablement material.

What am I Blogging About?

As part of ‘practicing what I preach’, I have embraced social media and have been blogging for over two years.  The intent of this blog is to chronicle some lessons learned with social media and to share some of my best secrets of producing ‘training that makes a difference’. Ultimately, my goal is to impact your business. (After all, social media is all about sharing and collaboration.)

One of my training secrets is to be able to laugh at one’s self. With that in mind, I’ll give you a humorous account of some of my personal experiences and lessons learned. My writing style reflects how I teach: using a personal, humorous and pragmatic approach.

My Audience

So if you are new to social media and just trying to figure it out, stay tuned. I’ll let you in on my trials and tribulations. AND hopefully I’ll have an epiphany or two along the way.

If you are new to the training world, considering selling your expertise in the form of a training product or if you are looking for some quick training points to freshen up your approach, then this blog is for you! I am a master at designing “training that sticks”.  I’ll help you understand elements of instructional design, training delivery and program enhancement. In addition, I take a practical look at other components, such as of satisfaction management, continuous improvement and teaming (to mention a few). I won’t make you a professional trainer, rather I’ll simplify the best nuggets of advice and relate them to ‘your world’ so you can shine.

If you are wondering where my experience is coming from, my primary background is in Information Technology (IT), with experience in communication intensive roles in Sales, Business Operations, Human Resources, Training and Development. I’ve won several awards for business process re-engineering, enablement and training; however, I am very happy to report some of the training ideas that I developed over 10 years ago are still being successfully leveraged. I have also developed and executed digital communications strategies and plans for non-profit events. Recently I took on several roles within the green building sector.
